2nd Shift - Press Brake Operator

Work Now Staffing is looking to hire Press Brake Operator for our Bloomingdale client.

Shift: 2nd - 4:30pm - 1:00am, Monday - Friday, overtime as needed

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Job Details:

• Set up and operate metal bending machines (Press Brake) in accordance with quality/quantity standards
• Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to management or designer
• Perform quality inspection/checks per quality documentation/control plan
• Maintain work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follow prescribed safety procedures
• Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to management or designer
• Perform quality inspection/checks per quality documentation/control plan (including documentation of results)
• Identify different types of material – Aluminum, 5000 series Aluminum, Steel, Stainless Steel, Paint Grip, Galvanneal, and Galvanized
• Uphold site efficiency standards
• Learn and demonstrate continuous improvement for site Safety and Quality standards and procedures
• Meet the standards of the site attendance policy
• Assist in other work areas as assigned
• Regularly required to stand, sit, use hands and fingers, handle or feel, and talk or hear
• May be required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
• Lift and/or move up to 25 pounds

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, blueprints, memos, and simple instructions
• Knowledge of basic business math functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
