OB/GYN - Waterboro, SC

She Recruits is partnering with a major regional hospital system in the Charleston metro area to recruit two OB/GYN physicians to join an established, growing women’s health program in Summerville, South Carolina.

This is a balanced opportunity offering strong OB volume, robotic surgical capability, OB Hospitalist support, and potential involvement with a residency program.

OB/GYN – Employed

Location: Summerville, SC
Schedule: Days (rotating weekends)
Call Structure:

1 designated call day per week
1:6 night call (home call)
Average 1:6 weekend call
Full-time OB Hospitalist support
Estimated MGMA Range: $350,000 – $450,000+

What You’ll Do:
Provide full-scope obstetrical and gynecologic care
Manage prenatal, labor, delivery, and postpartum care
Perform C-sections and gynecologic surgical procedures
Utilize robotic platform for minimally invasive GYN procedures
Participate in shared call model with structured OB Hospitalist coverage
Collaborate with neonatology and nursing teams
Participate in quality and safety initiatives
Potential involvement in OB/GYN residency education and mentoring
Qualifications:
MD or DO
BC/BE in Obstetrics & Gynecology
South Carolina license or ability to obtain prior to start
Strong interpersonal skills and team-based approach
Practice Environment:
Established women’s health program
Robotic surgery available
Structured OB Hospitalist support model
Academic exposure through residency program involvement (optional)
Strong referral network in rapidly growing suburban market
