Site Safety Manager (Tool Install) Contract
Work site located in the North Phoenix area
A regional staffing and recruiting agency is seeking a skilled and experienced Site Safety Manager to oversee the installation of specialized tools and equipment at a construction site. In this temporary, contract role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and compliance of all work activities, while also providing hands-on support for the installation of critical tools and equipment.
Job Summary:
As the Site Safety Manager, you will be the primary point of contact for all safety-related matters on the job site. You will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive safety protocols, conducting regular safety inspections, and providing training to workers to promote a culture of safety. Additionally, you will work closely with the construction team to oversee the proper installation of tools and equipment, ensuring that all work is completed in a safe and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and enforce site-specific safety policies and procedures
- Conduct daily safety inspections and identify and mitigate potential hazards
- Provide safety training and education to all workers on the job site
- Oversee the installation of specialized tools and equipment, ensuring compliance with manufacturer guidelines and industry best practices
- Investigate and document any incidents or accidents, and implement corrective actions
- Maintain detailed records and reports related to safety and tool installation activities
- Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure the successful and safe completion of the project
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Site Safety Manager or similar role in the construction industry
- Thorough understanding of OSHA regulations and safety best practices
- Proficient in the installation and maintenance of a variety of construction tools and equipment
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Relevant safety certifications (e.g., OSHA 30, CSST) preferred
Working Conditions:
This is a temporary, contract position with a start date of September 2, 2025. The work will be performed on an active construction site, which may involve exposure to various weather conditions, physical demands, and the use of personal protective equipment. A flexible schedule, including the potential for overtime, may be required to meet project deadlines.
