Light Industrial - Warehouse Associate

Position Summary
Openwork has an immediate opening for a warehouse associate position in the Nashville, TN area. This is a hands-on role that requires a strong work ethic and the ability to handle heavy lifting. Key Responsibilities
• Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick customer orders using an RF scanner to ensure timely and precise fulfillment.
• Receiving & Put Away: Unload and receive incoming materials, verifying accuracy, and put materials away in their designated warehouse locations.
• Material Handling: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move materials throughout the facility.
• Physical Requirements: Consistently lift and move materials weighing between 50-75 lbs.
Qualifications & Requirements
• Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred.
• Proficiency with RF scanners is a plus.
• Experience operating a forklift and pallet jack is required.
• Ability to lift and move 50-75 lbs regularly.
• Must own and wear steel-toed shoes or boots.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Hours and Compensation
• Pay Rate: $20.00/hour
• Shift: Monday through Friday, 6:30 am - 3:30 pm (includes a one-hour lunch)
Additional Details
• Dress Code: Work pants or work shorts and an appropriate t-shirt. Steel-toed shoes/boots are mandatory.
• Opportunity Type: This is a temp-to-hire position.
