Job Description
A growing mechanical service contractor is seeking an experienced Service Account Sales Representative to develop and manage commercial service accounts. This role focuses on generating new business, building long-term client relationships, and driving recurring service revenue. The ideal candidate has HVAC service or construction sales experience and is comfortable owning the full sales cycle from prospecting through close.
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop new commercial service accounts through prospecting, lead generation, and relationship building
Identify and qualify potential customers based on service needs and long-term value
Schedule and conduct client meetings to understand facility needs and service requirements
Present service offerings clearly and professionally, tailoring solutions to client needs
Close new service agreements and recurring maintenance contracts
Build rapport with decision-makers including facility managers, property managers, and owners
Maintain accurate sales activity, forecasts, and account notes
Collaborate with service managers and internal teams to ensure smooth handoff after sale
Stay current on service offerings, market trends, and customer needs
Support marketing initiatives and assist with service-related sales efforts as needed
Prior experience in HVAC service sales or mechanical construction sales
Proven ability to generate new accounts and close service-based business
Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
Organized, self-motivated, and comfortable managing multiple opportunities
Detail-oriented with strong follow-through
High school diploma or equivalent required
Experience selling service agreements, maintenance contracts, or repair work preferred
Performance-based commission opportunities
