Opportunity:
Physician - Anesthesiology - Pediatric
Job Details:
- Coverage period runs from August 10th through November 16th, 2026 to cover a maternity leave
- Hospital-based operating room setting with shifts running Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
- No call schedule required
- Average of 50 to 60 surgical cases per day across a 14-room operating suite
- Provider will practice both independently and supervise CRNAs within a care team model
- Patient age demographic ranges from neonatal to adult
- Required procedures include general surgical cases across neonatal, pediatric, and adult populations, thoracic cases (excluding open heart), complex orthopedic cases, neurosurgical cases, and ventilation management
- Preferred procedures include insertion of arterial lines, evaluation and management of acute volume and blood pressure issues, and providing pediatric anesthesia services to all subspecialties except cardiac and transplant surgery
- ACS Level 1 Trauma Center with an annual ER volume of 70,000
- Works alongside a collegial team of RNs, surgical techs, PCAs, surgeons, proceduralists, and APPs
- Pediatric Anesthesiology Board Certification required
- Completed Pediatric Anesthesia Fellowship required
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Active Ohio license highly preferred
- NPDB self-query must be submitted within 30 days of submission at time of presentation

This is a leading pediatric hospital providing comprehensive, specialized care exclusively to infants, children, and adolescents. Designated as an ACS Level 1 Trauma Center, the facility features 14 operating rooms and supports an annual emergency volume of 70,000 visits. The anesthesiology department consists of 22 anesthesiologists working collaboratively within a care team model, supported by a dedicated OR staff including RNs, surgical techs, and advanced practice providers. The facility covers all major pediatric subspecialties with the exception of cardiac and transplant surgery.
