Opportunity:
DO;MD - Diagnostic Radiology
Job Details:
- Two or more Diagnostic Radiologists needed to provide onsite coverage across two facilities, averaging 20 shifts per month per provider
- Focus includes addressing outpatient study backlog with 800+ outpatient studies currently in the queue
- Coverage begins June 2026 and runs through September
- Weekday hours: 7:00 AM 5:00 PM; Weekend hours: 7:00 AM 7:00 PM
- Onsite-only position; no remote or tele-radiology
- Providers will be required to be cross-credentialed to support coverage across both locations
- Interpret general diagnostic radiology studies including CT, MRI, ultrasound, X-ray, and fluoroscopy
- Perform light procedures including fluoroscopy and basic image-guided procedures such as paracentesis and thoracentesis
- Provide timely and accurate reads for inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department imaging
- Expected productivity of approximately 60 70 reads per shift
- Communicate significant findings with ordering providers when appropriate
- Support hospital initiatives focused on quality, efficiency, and patient-centered care
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting within the radiology systems
- Illinois CSR and DEA required; IMLC accepted
