American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Technologist with at least 1 year of experience in cardiac and IR procedures for a 13-week acute care assignment in Eau Claire, WI.
Details\n- \n
- Acute care cardiac cath lab setting with 2 procedure suites \n
- Performs coronary, IR, and vascular procedures — no EP cases at this location \n
- Averages 6 cases per day across both labs \n
- Uses Cerner (transitioning to Epic) and Merge \n
- 4x10-hour day shifts, Monday–Thursday, 6:30 AM–5:00 PM \n
- On-call weeknights (Mon–Thu) from 5:00 PM–6:30 AM, and on-call every 3rd full weekend (Fri–Sun, 6:30 AM–6:30 AM) \n
- Call response time is 30 minutes \n
- Holiday coverage on an as-needed basis \n
- Occasional floating to provide 1:1 sitter assistance \n

- Minimum 1 year of cath lab experience, with knowledge of cardiac and IR cases \n
- Proficiency in scrubbing, panning, and general X-ray knowledge \n
- Active BLS (AHA) required; ACLS preferred \n
- Experience with Cerner preferred \n
- License required if applicable \n
- \n
- Technologists scrub, monitor, and circulate cases \n
- Hospital-provided scrubs in light blue \n
- Unit-specific orientation begins on day 1 and is to be completed within the first week using an orientation binder \n
- Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must have an end date at least 6 months prior to their submission date \n
- Candidates living within 80 miles of the facility are considered local, which may affect the travel pay rate \n
- 2 professional references are required for consideration: 1 from a supervisor within the last 12 months of relevant experience, and 1 from a peer or supervisor within the last 3 years in the same specialty \n
