Description\n

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a night shift Radiology position requiring ARRT certification in CT and at least 2 years of specialty experience.

  • Work in the Diagnostic Radiology department of a hospital setting
  • \n
  • Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional diagnostic images and perform related imaging procedures including general radiography and fluoroscopy
  • \n
  • Patient population ranges from adolescent through geriatric
  • \n
  • Night shift schedule, 3x12 hour shifts (6:30 PM-7:00 AM), Thursday through Saturday
  • \n
  • Call requirement of once per week
  • \n
  • Uses PACS and teleradiology systems for image transfer
  • \n
Requirements\n
    \n
  • ARRT certification as R.T. (R)(CT) or R.T. (R) required, with advanced CT certification required or preferred depending on state
  • \n
  • BLS certification required (AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS)
  • \n
  • Fluoroscopy license required if applicable
  • \n
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in CT required
  • \n
  • Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology preferred
  • \n
  • Venipuncture certification preferred
  • \n
  • Ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients across the lifespan
  • \n
Additional Information\n
    \n
  • Produce sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation
  • \n
  • Maintain accurate records, files, and billing information in compliance with HIPAA and patient confidentiality guidelines
  • \n
  • Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and supply inventory management for imaging equipment
  • \n
  • Located in a scenic community along the Columbia River Gorge
  • \n
  • Accepts local candidates at the same rate as travel candidates
  • \n
  • Required vaccinations apply as a condition of employment, with medical and religious exemptions available
  • \n
  • Candidates with more than 5 days of requested time off will not be considered
  • \n
  • Candidates with a prior adverse licensure action will not be considered
