WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a local contract nurse RN CVOR for a local contract nursing job in Newark, New Jersey.

WCS Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse for a contract assignment at a highly respected hospital in Newark, NJ. This role is ideal for an OR nurse who thrives in a fast‑paced surgical environment and is committed to delivering safe, high‑quality perioperative care.
Job Function:
\n- Day Shift. \n
- 3x12: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM. \n
- Document all patient care accurately, completely, and promptly in the facility EMR \n
- Prepare the operating room for procedures and assist with room turnover \n
- Assist with patient positioning and ensure comfort and safety throughout the procedure \n
- Handle and label specimens according to policy \n
- Maintain strict adherence to aseptic technique and infection‑control standards \n
- Identify and initiate corrective actions when necessary \n
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and OR staff to ensure efficient workflow \n
Job Requirements:
\nActive NJ or Compact RN License (must be active at submission)
\n \nBLS – American Heart Association
\n \nMinimum 2.5 years of CVOR or high‑acuity OR experience
\n \nEPIC charting experience required
\n \n- Locals: Accepted at same rate \n
