About the Opportunity:
PeopleFirst Education is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students in a school-based setting in Dearborn, MI. This is a contract position, offering the flexibility of short-term assignment while providing meaningful impact in the classroom.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech and language therapy to students within the school setting.
Conduct assessments and screenings using standardized and non-standardized tools.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to maximize student success.
Document student progress and maintain accurate records.
Qualifications:
Valid SLP certification or license for Michigan.
Experience in school-based therapy preferred but new graduates are welcome.
Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
Ability to adapt therapy to meet diverse student needs.
