🌙 Shift: Nights | Sunday, Monday & Tuesday | 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM
⏱ Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours/Week

Seeking a compassionate and skilled Med-Surg Registered Nurse (Level IV Trauma Center) to join its inpatient nursing team. This opportunity is ideal for nurses who thrive in a collaborative environment and are committed to delivering exceptional patient-centered care.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult medical-surgical patients.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and treatments safely and accurately.
• Monitor patient conditions and promptly communicate changes to providers and care team members.
• Coordinate patient admissions, transfers, discharges, and discharge education.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Epic EMR.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, case managers, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatments, medications, and post-discharge care.
• Ensure compliance with infection prevention, patient safety, and hospital policies.
• Respond effectively to emergencies while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor.
• Prioritize workload and manage multiple patients in a fast-paced acute care environment.

✅ Requirements:
• Active Iowa RN License
• BLS Certification Required
• ACLS Preferred
• Minimum 3 Years of Acute Care Experience Preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Mandatory Abuse Reporter Certification required within 6 months of hire
