Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon

**Position Overview**
\n We are seeking a highly skilled and board-certified Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon to join a Level II Trauma Center. This role is ideal for a physician with a strong background in trauma, emergency surgery, and critical care who is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.

**Key Responsibilities**

\n * Provide surgical and non-surgical management of patients with traumatic injuries
\n * Participate in emergency and trauma call rotations
\n * Perform life-saving procedures in high-acuity situations
\n * Collaborate with specialists in critical care, neurosurgery, emergency medicine, and other disciplines
\n * Contribute to trauma quality improvement initiatives and registry activities
\n * Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR
\n * Participate in teaching and mentoring residents or medical students, if applicable

**Qualifications**

\n * MD or DO from an accredited medical school
\n * Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery
\n * Fellowship training in Surgical Critical Care or Acute Care Surgery preferred
\n * Active Florida medical license or eligibility to obtain
\n * ATLS certification (Instructor status preferred)
\n * Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
\n * Ability to perform effectively in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment

**Preferred Experience**

\n * Minimum of 2 years of post-fellowship experience in trauma or acute care surgery
\n * Experience working in a Level II Trauma Center
\n * Familiarity with trauma registries, ACS verification processes, and quality improvement programs

\n **Schedule**

\n * Rotating schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
\n * Shared trauma call coverage
