Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an outpatient setting, requiring 1+ year of outpatient PT experience and a South Carolina PT license.

Details
  • Outpatient setting, not located on a hospital campus
  • Day shift schedule: Monday–Thursday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, Friday 8:00 AM–12:00 PM
  • 1:1 patient ratio with 45-minute sessions
  • No weekend, on-call, or holiday coverage required
  • No floating to other units or sister facilities
  • Epic EMR used for charting
  • Free parking available on-site
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of outpatient physical therapy experience required
  • South Carolina PT license required; candidates with a pending license may be considered, but must be active prior to start
  • BLS certification required (AHA-issued only)
  • SSN and driver's license required for consideration
  • License required if applicable
Additional Information
  • First-time travelers are accepted provided they have outpatient PT experience
  • Previous permanent or PRN staff at any location in this health system must have been separated for at least 1 year before being eligible as a traveler
  • Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify; non-local candidates are prioritized
  • All requested time off must be submitted upfront, as approval is based on facility needs
  • Pre-start online modules are required to be completed before the assignment begins
  • Charcoal gray scrubs are required
  • Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season (June–November), all staff and contractors may be assigned to emergency response duties; peak activity months are August and September
