Join a Labor & Delivery team providing high-quality, compassionate acute care for laboring patients and newborns during the night shift. This role supports safe deliveries, maternal-fetal monitoring, newborn stabilization, and patient/family education while collaborating closely with interdisciplinary partners.

- Shift: 3x12-hour nights, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM \n
- Weekend and holiday rotation as needed \n

- $37.23–$57.71 hourly (based on experience) \n
- +$4/night shift differential \n
- +$2/weekend shift differential (stackable) \n
- \n
- Perform comprehensive maternal and fetal assessments, including continuous fetal monitoring and interpretation. \n
- Provide intrapartum and postpartum nursing care, including pain management, medication administration, and IV therapy. \n
- Assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries; anticipate provider needs and maintain a sterile and safe environment. \n
- Recognize and respond to obstetric and neonatal emergencies; initiate rapid interventions per policy and scope. \n
- Support immediate newborn care and stabilization, including thermoregulation, feeding support, and safety education. \n
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and timely in the medical record. \n
- Coordinate care transitions, participate in handoffs, and collaborate with physicians, anesthesia, pediatrics, and respiratory therapy. \n
- Promote patient-centered care, privacy, infection prevention, and compliance with regulatory and quality standards. \n

- ADN (Associate Degree in Nursing) (Required) \n
- Active RN (Registered Nurse) license in Illinois (Required) \n
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification within 1 year of hire (Required) \n
- 3 years of Labor & Delivery experience (Required) \n
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) within 90 days of hire (Highly Preferred) \n
- BLS/CPR certification within 90 days of hire (Highly Preferred) \n

- Acute care setting with fast-paced, high-acuity patient needs \n
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods, lift/move patients and equipment, and respond quickly to emergencies \n
- Comfort working nights and in time-sensitive situations requiring independent judgment \n
