Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for an LDRP position at a critical access hospital in Montana, requiring 3+ years of recent L&D experience and prior travel experience.

  • Critical access hospital setting with 22 total staff beds
  • \n
  • Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) unit requiring competency across L&D, triage, and postpartum care
  • \n
  • Patient ratios range from 1:1 to 1:6 depending on patient acuity and unit needs
  • \n
  • Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:00)
  • \n
  • Every other weekend required
  • \n
  • On-call required once per pay period (max PRN)
  • \n
  • Floating required between facilities within the state per unit needs
  • \n
  • Charting via Epic (experience required)
  • \n
  • Scrubs: any color; OR scrubs provided
  • \n
  • Free on-site parking
  • \n
Requirements\n
    \n
  • Active Montana (MT) RN license or Compact RN license required
  • \n
  • Minimum 3 years of recent LDRP or L&D nursing experience required
  • \n
  • Prior travel nursing experience required — seasoned travelers only
  • \n
  • Proficiency in L&D, triage, and postpartum care required
  • \n
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • \n
  • At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting
  • \n
  • Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
  • \n
  • All required certifications must be current and on file
  • \n
Additional Information\n
    \n
  • Provide comprehensive LDRP nursing care across labor, delivery, triage, and postpartum phases
  • \n
  • Travelers who refuse to float between facilities within the state may be subject to assignment termination
  • \n
  • Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
  • \n
  • Minimal RTO is strongly preferred for this position
  • \n
  • First-time travelers will not be considered for this role
  • \n
