American Traveler is hiring an Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer for a 13-week travel contract at an acute care hospital in Manchester, NH, requiring RDCS or RCS certification and a minimum of 2 years of experience.
Details- Work is performed in a dedicated Echo Lab (cardiovascular ultrasound unit) within an acute care hospital setting
- Adult patient population
- Caseload of approximately 8–9 echos per day
- Procedures include standard echo, stress echo, transesophageal echo (TEE), contrast echo, and echo with bubble studies
- Equipment includes Philips Ultrasound and GE Clinical Works
- EMR is Sunrise (Allscripts)
- Schedule is either 4x10-hour shifts (7:00 AM–5:30 PM) or 5x8-hour shifts (8:00 AM–4:30 PM)
- Occasional weekend day shifts required
- Occasional on-call shifts from 5:00 PM–7:00 AM required
- 12-person staff team on unit
- Minimum of 2 years of recent echocardiography experience, with active experience within the last 6 months
- RDCS or RCS certification required
- BLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start)
- NH Board of Medical Imaging Licensure required — license must be in hand prior to consideration
- License required if applicable
- US SSN and date of birth required for consideration (no Canadian SSN accepted)
- One professional reference required
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible for this position
- Scrubs required (no specified color)
