American Consultants is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico
Schedule: Night shift, 4x12-hour shifts (6:30 PM - 7:00 AM), option of 36 or 48 hours per week. Weekend coverage as needed. Patient ratio of 6:1.
Highlights:- 91-day travel assignment on a progressive medical surgical floor caring for stroke and surgical patients
- First-time travelers welcome with minimum one year of experience required
- Unit equipped with 24/7 telemetry central monitoring tech; no independent dysrhythmia interpretation required
- Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including pharmacy, respiratory services, physical therapy, rapid response teams, and more
- 39-bed unit with daily census of approximately 30 patients
- Flexible time-off options with pre-approved requests available
- Active New Mexico or Compact nursing license (pending licenses accepted if obtained prior to start date)
- Minimum one year of medical surgical nursing experience with 6:1 patient ratio experience
- Required certifications: BLS, NIHSS, CPI
- Epic charting system experience required
- Must reside outside 50-mile local radius
- Proficiency in telemetry monitoring, IV management, blood product administration, wound care, and stroke patient care
