HIGHLIGHTS:

• Required Certifications: AHA or ARC BLS, ACLS, WI RN License or compact RN, required.
\n
• Diploma that says associates or bachelors in nursing required.
\n
• Minimum Experience: 3 + year OR experience with anesthesia experience REQUIRED.
\n
• Prior travel REQUIRED.
\n
• Charting/Equipment: Epic required; Cell Saver, Belmont required.
\n
• Required skills: Strong OR /CVOR Circulating experience; Prior experience with conscious sedation a plus.
\n
• Assisting with intubations, fiber optic scopes during intubation, sterile techniques with central lines, assisting Anesthesiologist with placement of arterial lines, central lines, lumbar drains, Swan Ganz catheters, starting IV's, drawing labs, setting up medication pumps, running Belmont, Cell Saver, and Level I.

• Assisting Anesthesia with heart surgeries, traumas, elective surgeries, and general surgeries.
\n

  Anesthesia RN at Aspirus Wausau Hospital is critical in assisting our anesthesia providers throughout a variety of specialties with a main focus on the cardiothoracic program.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS:

• Guaranteed Hours per Week: 40 hours guaranteed.
\n
• Shift Requirements: M-F various day shifts.
\n
• On Call/Call-Back: 1 night of call per week, 1 weekend per month, 1 back up per week
