American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery night shift position requiring at least 1 year of L&D experience and an active SC or compact RN license.

- Hospital-based Labor & Delivery unit \n
- Night shift schedule from 19:00-07:30 \n
- Scheduled for three 12-hour shifts per week \n
- No call requirements \n
- Floating to similar units required as needed \n
- 13-week assignment \n
- \n
- Active RN license (SC or Compact) currently in hand \n
- BLS certification (AHA only) \n
- NRP certification (AHA only) \n
- Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery nursing experience required \n

- Assess patient needs based on history, observation, physical examination, and diagnostic data analysis \n
- Provide age-specific nursing interventions consistent with plan of care and standards of practice \n
- Foster a caring, compassionate, and respectful environment for patients, families, and visitors \n
- Utilize appropriate health and safety equipment to protect patients and staff \n
- Contribute to department performance through precepting and mentoring novice employees \n
- Participate in hospital-system initiatives and evidence-based nursing practices \n
- Demonstrate continued professional growth through goal-setting and educational offerings \n
