HealthTrust Workforce Solutions Regional is seeking a local contract nurse RN PreOp / PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a local contract nursing job in Wichita, Kansas.

Job Description & Requirements

• Specialty: PreOp / PACU - Post Anesthesia Care

• 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12 hours, days
• Employment Type: Local Contract

• Number of Beds – 9 Preop beds, 5 Phase 2 recovery beds
• Number of Staff – 8 full time RN’s (2 of those are open positions), 2 part time RN’s, 4 PRN RN’s and 1 unit HUC
• Patient Ratios – 1:3
• Type of equipment – Pyxis, GE MACVU EKG machine, Doppler, patient scale, bladder scanner
• EMR -Meditech
• Typical Procedures:
  • Phase 2 recoveries of Urology, GYN and other SDS patients
  • Preop Surgery, Endo, cath lab, EP, CT patients, outpatient infusions, outpatient EKG’s, blocks, blood transfusions

Must Haves:\n- An ASN degree minimum, BSN preferred\n- A recent 12 months of Pre Op RN experience in an acute inpatient hospital setting\n- KS RN License\n- BLS and ACLS Certifications\n\nPreferred or Nice to Have:\n- MediTech Experience\n- Travel Experience
