WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Registered Nurse a for a 13-week contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in Albany, NY. The weekly pay for this position is $2,400 a week.
Job Function:
\n- Day Shift \n
- 3x12: 7:30AM-5:30PM. \n
- Prepares and administers (orally, subcutaneously, through an IV) and records prescribed medications. \n
- Reports adverse reactions to medications or treatments in accordance with the policy regarding the administration of medications by a licensed registered nurse \n
- Educates patients on surgical procedures ƒ Records patients’ medical information and vital signs \n
- Monitors and adjusts specialized equipment used on patients, and interprets and records electronic displays \n
- Initiates corrective action whenever the patient \n
Job Requirements:
\n- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) \n
- Current New York State RN license (or willingness to obtain) \n
- 2 years of acute care experience in this specialty \n
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association \n
