\n \nOpportunity:
\nPhysical Therapist - Physical Therapy
\nJob Details:
\n• Work five 8-hour shifts per week, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
\n • No weekend or holiday requirements
\n • Primarily outpatient setting with potential float to inpatient depending on schedule needs and patient requirements
\n • Treat an average of 12-15 patients per shift, including evaluations and follow-ups
\n • Help direct PTA as needed
\n • Common diagnoses include orthopedic conditions (post-surgical, general pain), neurological conditions, imbalance, and weakness
\n • Must be able to handle a fast-paced, busy environment
\n • Minimum 1 year of experience outside of school required; 3 years preferred
\n • Inpatient experience preferred; outpatient-only experience will be considered
\n • Prior Cerner experience preferred; Cerner is the charting system used
\n • Familiarity with MedBridge for Home Exercise Program is a plus
\n • Dress code: scrubs or business casual attire with closed-toe shoes required
\n • Required certifications: BLS (AHA)
\n • Wisconsin Physical Therapy licensure required
\n • Must clock in and out at the facility
Facility:
\nThis medical center operates both outpatient clinic and inpatient acute care settings, offering a collaborative and friendly work environment where physicians and therapists work closely as a team. The rehabilitation department is supported by a hands-on manager, one PTA primarily in outpatient, one COTA, and two rehabilitation aides who handle scheduling, authorizations, and other administrative duties. The facility utilizes Cerner as its electronic health records system and provides a structured one-on-one orientation process to ensure new clinicians are set up for success.
