Position Summary:\n
Crow/Northern Cheyenne Hospital is seeking two experienced Radiologic Technologists with CT experience to provide diagnostic imaging services in a rural Indian Health Service (IHS) facility. The Rad Tech/CT Tech will perform both computed tomography (CT) and general radiographic procedures for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients while ensuring quality imaging, patient safety, and compliance with facility protocols.
\nThe department averages approximately 30 imaging studies per day. Depending on the assigned shift, technologists may work primarily in either CT or X-ray and support emergency department imaging needs.
Shift Information:Overnight Shift\n- \n
- Thursday through Saturday \n
- 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM \n
- Three consecutive 12.5-hour overnight shifts per week \n

- Weekdays and every other weekend on a rotating schedule \n

- CT Scanner: Hitachi \n
- X-Ray System: CoreLabs \n
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR): RPMS \n
- Average volume: Approximately 30 imaging studies per day \n
- Some staff overlap during daytime hours and shift changes \n
- Overnight coverage depends on Emergency Department imaging orders \n

- Perform diagnostic CT and general radiographic examinations according to physician orders and established protocols. \n
- Produce high-quality diagnostic images while adhering to radiation safety standards and ALARA principles. \n
- Prepare, position, and educate patients regarding imaging procedures. \n
- Evaluate image quality and repeat studies when clinically necessary. \n
- Accurately document imaging procedures and patient information in RPMS and PACS systems. \n
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams to support patient care. \n
- Follow infection control, patient safety, and hospital policies and procedures. \n
- Maintain imaging equipment and report equipment issues promptly. \n
- Respond appropriately to emergency situations and departmental needs. \n
- Provide culturally sensitive care to American Indian and Alaska Native populations. \n

- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. \n
- Current RDMS \n
- Demonstrated CT imaging experience required. \n
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association. \n
- Ability to perform both CT and general X-ray procedures. \n
- Experience with digital radiography, PACS, and electronic documentation systems preferred. \n
