GLC Government Services is seeking a nurse practitioner or physician assistant to work a full-time, long-term government contract at a federal correctional facility.

Location: Coleman, FL
\nPay: $65 per hour
\nSetting: FCI Coleman Correctional Facility
\nContract: Ongoing Contract
\nSchedule: Monday - Friday, between the hours of 6 am – 4 pm (1/2-hour unpaid lunch), 35 hours per week. Hours and schedule are based on the needs of the client and are subject to change.

Requirements:

- Clear and active licensure to practice in the state of Florida \n
- DEA preferred but not required. \n
- CPR certified \n
- Minimum of 1-year experience in male and female health \n
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check \n
Scope of Work:
\nA contract nurse practitioner or physician assistant will perform comprehensive evaluations and treatments within his/her scope of practice in the area of male and female health.
\nYou will document all encounters with inmates in their medical charts daily.
\nYou will be supervised by the Health Services Administrator and receive clinical supervision by the Clinical Director.
\nAll reports and/or documentation written by the nurse practitioner or physician assistant will be reviewed and cosigned by the clinical director.
\nAll recommendations for further diagnostic testing and/or treatment will be made to the clinical director, who will retain professional responsibility for patients referred.
\nThe nurse practitioner or physician assistant must remain constantly aware of security and maintain a professional relationship with inmates at all times.
