American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Medical/Surgical position in Oregon, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and active BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.

- Day shift schedule, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM, three 12-hour shifts per week \n
- Medical/Surgical unit serving adult patients before and after surgical procedures \n
- Floating to other departments may be required based on qualifications \n
- 13-week contract \n

- Active Oregon RN license required \n
- Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS \n
- Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience required \n
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing \n
- Ability to respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition or response to treatment \n

- Provides direct, individualized nursing care to adult pre- and post-surgical patients, including medication administration, vital sign monitoring, and condition assessment \n
- Responsible for initiating the computerized Plan of Care upon patient admission \n
- Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes \n
- Participates in required education for DNV programs as applicable to the position \n
- BSN or MSN preferred \n
- Certified Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (CMSRN) designation preferred \n
- CRASE training preferred; required if the assignment extends beyond 6 months \n
