Job Description
We are seeking a Pediatric Gastroenterologist to join a growing, vibrant division in Orlando, Florida. This is an exceptional opportunity for a physician looking to balance high-level clinical care with an active academic career within a supportive, multidisciplinary environment.
The OpportunityJoin a dedicated team currently comprised of eight pediatric gastroenterologists and a comprehensive support staff, including Nurse Practitioners, Registered Dietitians, Social Workers, and Clinical Coordinators. The division is expanding to meet the needs of the Central Florida community and is looking for a ninth physician to help shape the future of the program.
Academic Focus: Partner in the establishment of a Pediatric Gastroenterology Fellowship program.
Specialized Care: Opportunities to engage with dedicated centers for Feeding Disorders, Celiac Disease, IBD, Intestinal Rehabilitation, and Complex Motility.
Advanced Procedures: We are particularly interested in candidates with Advanced Endoscopy experience (ERCP, EUS, POEM, etc.).
Provide direct patient care in both inpatient and ambulatory settings.
Educate and mentor medical students and trainees.
Participate in clinical research and quality improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with major pediatric subspecialists in a coordinated GI/Surgery alignment.
Education: MD (or equivalent) and completion of an RRC-approved fellowship in Pediatric Gastroenterology.
Certification: Board Certified in Pediatrics; Board Eligible/Board Certified (BE/BC) in Pediatric Gastroenterology.
Skills: Proficiency in a full range of pediatric GI endoscopic procedures and excellent communication skills.
Experience: Knowledge across all pediatric GI and hepatology disorders; a passion for undergraduate and graduate medical education is highly valued.
