Job Description
Title: Psychiatric Physician

Shift Schedule:
Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
Rotating light night call
Telephonic on-call coverage at night
Average 0 2 calls per night
Call back compensated separately
Pay Rate: $225/hour
How Many Shifts Needed Per Month: Full-time schedule (Monday Friday coverage)
License: Any Active U.S. State License Accepted
Certifications:
BLS
Board Certified or Board Eligible
Experience Needed: Must have worked clinically within the last 6 months
Special Skills Needed:
Comfortable managing inpatient census of 12 14 patients
Experience with CPRS EMR preferred
Ability to provide coverage across multiple VA-associated locations
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Credentialing / Onboarding Time: 6 8 weeks
Responsibilities:
Provide psychiatric coverage for Tuskegee VA Hospital
Primary coverage in Tuskegee with additional support for Montgomery, Dothan, Fort Rucker, Monroeville (AL), and Columbus (GA)
Manage average daily census of 12 14 patients
Participate in rotating light call schedule
Provide telephonic overnight call coverage
Maintain accurate documentation in CPRS EMR system
