Shift: 08:00am-05:00pm
Duration: 1 year to long term
Hours/week: 40 Hours/week

Summary: 
We are seeking a qualified Physicians to provide comprehensive care in the Urgent Care Center. The role involves direct patient care, consultation, stabilization, and administrative responsibilities in alignment with standards and facility bylaws.

Qualifications:
•    Current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in any U.S. State, Territory, Commonwealth, or the District of Columbia.
•    Licensed, Board Certified/Board Eligible.
•    Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or equivalent.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Direct Patient Care (Approx. 85%)
•    Provide urgent care triage, evaluation, and treatment.
•    Order and interpret diagnostic tests; recommend treatment plans.
•    Document all patient encounters in CPRS on the day of service.
•    Stabilize patients requiring higher levels of care and coordinate transfers.
•    Provide consultations and referrals to other clinicians.
•    Adhere to medication policies; no sample medications permitted.
•    Communicate test results promptly to patients and providers.
•    Deliver discharge education and follow-up instructions.
Administrative Duties (Approx. 15%)
•    Attend staff meetings as required by the Medical Director or Chief of Staff.
•    Complete QA/QI documentation for procedures, complications, and outcomes.
•    Ensure compliance with patient safety and infection control standards.
•    Report and document incidents such as medication errors, falls, or patient injuries within 24 hours.
