Physician Oncology-Radiation - Competitive Salary

Opportunity:

DO;MD - Radiation Oncology

Job Details:

• Coverage needed for 2 weeks in June and full-time July through October


• Must have an active Illinois license


• Responsible for patient evaluation, simulation and dosimetry treatment planning


• Prescription for radiation therapy and weekly assessments of patients under treatment


• Post-treatment patient follow-up and checking daily images for verification of alignment and treatment accuracy


• Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with no call, holidays, or weekends


• Manage 25-30 patients under treatment per day


• Handle external beam treatments, OTVs, and follow-ups


• Provide on-site supervision for compliance, checking SRS procedures, on-treatment visits, follow-up and consultations
