Physician Oncology-Radiation - Competitive Salary

DO;MD - Radiation Oncology

Job Details:

• Coverage needed for 2 weeks in June, with full-time coverage from July through October 2


• Must hold an active Illinois license


• Responsible for patient evaluation, simulation, and dosimetry treatment planning


• Prescribe radiation therapy and conduct weekly assessments of patients under treatment


• Perform post-treatment patient follow-up


• Check daily images for verification of alignment and accuracy of treatment


• Monday through Friday schedule, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM - no call, holidays, or weekends


• 25 to 30 patients under treatment per day


• Cases include external beam treatments, on-treatment visits (OTVs), and follow-ups


• Procedures include on-site supervision for compliance, checking SRS's, on-treatment visits, follow-ups, and consults
