Physician - Anesthesiology

Job Details:

• Coverage needed for specific dates: June 22-26 (2 MDs needed) and June 29-July 3 (1 MD needed)


• 4:1 supervision with medically directed model


• Must be able to run own room independently if necessary


• Work across 19 operating rooms, 5 endoscopy rooms, and 1 maternity room


• Schedule: 6am start for orientation first day only, then 7am-3pm (may extend for add-on cases)


• Board certification required with minimum 90-day credentialing timeframe


• Required certifications: ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS


• Provide anesthesia for complete orthopedic, complex vascular, obstetrical, pediatric, regional, and thoracic surgeries


• Required skills include general anesthesia (adult and pediatric), spinal anesthesia, epidural anesthesia, and regional anesthesia surgery


• Must be proficient in obstetrical cases, thoracic cases, complex vascular and orthopedic procedures


• Post-operative care including epidural and extremity blocks required


• Epidural steroid injections (lumbar and cervical) and transforaminal procedures required


• X-ray guidance for blocks, ventilation management, and acute volume/BP management required


• Central line, arterial line, and PA catheter placement required


• CRNA supervision experience required
