American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology position requiring ACLS certification and conscious sedation skills.

- Work in the Interventional Radiology department of a 225-bed hospital \n
- Care for patients requiring invasive radiology procedures \n
- 1:1 patient-to-RN ratio \n
- Uses Siemens Artis Z, Siemens Artis Q, and Philips EPIQ ultrasound equipment \n
- EMR system is EPIC \n
- Day shift schedule offered as 5x8-hour shifts (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM) or 4x10-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM) \n
- Participate in an on-call rotation shared with 5 other RNs \n

- Active RN license (IN or Compact) currently in hand \n
- Current certifications: BLS and ACLS \n
- Minimum 3 years of RN experience required \n
- Comfortable performing conscious sedation under direct supervision of a radiologist \n
- Preferred experience in interventional radiology or Cath Lab setting \n
- Preferred background in ED or ICU setting \n

- Monitor patient vitals during invasive interventional radiology procedures \n
- Work collaboratively in a group setting alongside technologists and RNs to care for interventional radiology patients \n
- Confident, team-oriented personality suited to a collaborative care model \n
- Complete computer-based training and orientation prior to beginning clinical work \n
- Light blue surgical scrubs are supplied by the facility \n
- Local candidates within a 50-mile radius are accepted at a reduced rate \n
