WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Mother Baby Nurse a for a 13-week, 26-week and long-term temp contract assignments at a Prestigious Hospital in Long Branch, NJ.
Job Function:
\n- Night Shift. \n
- Categorizes patients in the appropriate level of classification. \n
- Applies external fetal monitor and interprets fetal heart tracing and uterine activity. \n
- Implements intervention appropriately based on fetal heart rate pattern and maternal status during labor. \n
- Identifies emergency situations, observes age and notifies provider accordingly. \n
- Screens patients for pain during the initial assessment and reassess according to guidelines. \n
Job Requirements:
\n- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN). \n
- Current RN license for the state of NJ.\n \n
- 2 years experience in high-risk Labor & Delivery. \n
- BLS, ACLS and NRP certifications from the American Heart Association. \n
- Fetal Monitoring Certificate Preferred. \n
