📢 Travel PACU RN Opportunity – Hilo, Hawaii

\n We are hiring an experienced PACU Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment at Hilo Medical Center in Hilo, HI.

\n Position Details:
\n • Duration: 13 weeks
\n • Schedule: Variable 8-, 10-, or 12-hour shifts; days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
\n • Units: PACU and ASU
\n • On-Call: 0–3 shifts per month, including 8-hour night call and 24-hour weekend/holiday call
\n • Guaranteed Hours: No guarantee of hours or shift preference
\n • EMR: Epic

\n Requirements:
\n • Active Hawaii RN license required by assignment start date
\n • Candidates without an active Hawaii license must apply immediately upon offer acceptance
\n • Minimum 3 years of recent PACU experience preferred
\n • Recent hospital-based ICU or ER experience may be accepted in place of PACU experience
\n • Current AHA BLS and ACLS required
\n • AHA PALS required
\n • Flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required before start
\n • Must arrive the Thursday before the start date for employee health clearance on Friday

\n Key Responsibilities:
\n • Provide safe, high-quality care for pre-operative patients and patients in Phase I and Phase II recovery.
\n • Monitor airway, hemodynamic status, incision sites, pain levels, body temperature, and post-anesthesia complications.
\n • Deliver critical care interventions and collaborate closely with anesthesia providers, surgeons, and the interdisciplinary team.
\n • Operate equipment including Meditech, PCA pumps, Pyxis, Braun IV pumps, Cryocuff, SCDs, Bair Paws warmers, and HP/Phillips monitors.
\n • Float between PACU and ASU as needed.
\n • Participate in holiday and on-call coverage.
