ICU Registered Nurse (RN)
Assignment Duration\nThis is a flexible contract position running through the holidays and January, with a duration of 22 to 26 weeks.
Schedule\nShifts include 7a-7p or 7p-7a, working three 12-hour shifts per week.
Job Description\nThe ICU Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive care to patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), addressing their critical needs and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. The nurse will demonstrate a commitment to patient safety, dignity, and respect while ensuring high-quality care delivery.
Responsibilities\n- \n
- Provide high-quality nursing care to ICU patients. \n
- Monitor vital signs and respond to changes in patient condition. \n
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. \n
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to assess patient needs. \n
- Ensure compliance with safety and health protocols. \n
- \n
- Currently licensed by NYS as a Registered Professional Nurse. \n
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications through the RQI system required. \n
- Basic Coronary Care certification within 6 months of hire. \n
- CPI certification to be obtained within 90 days of hire. \n
- Experience in handling confidential information and maintaining professionalism. \n
