Van Driver (20 Hours Per Week) - Part-time

20 hours per week, Monday – Friday, Split Shift 7:00 am – 9:00 am and 3:00 pm – 5:00PM

Drivers are required to work both the morning and afternoon shift.

RATE OF PAY
$13.45/hour

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensures the safe and punctual transportation of individuals to their vocational program/place of employment and to and from home.
• Abides by all work rules and personnel policies.
• Notifies Director of vehicle/equipment deficiencies and maintains cleanliness of assigned vehicles.
• Provides assistance as needed to people supported when entering and leaving the vehicle.
• Completes monthly vehicle maintenance/safety checklist and turns it in to the Manager.

Job Requirments

• High school diploma or GED required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Valid MA Driver license, acceptable driving record and reliable transportation. At least 3 years driving experience with a clean driving record.
• Acceptable CORI report and suitable fingerprint results required.
• Drug/alcohol test and physical exam required.
• At least one year of directly related experience working with adults with developmental disabilities.
• Experience working with families of individuals and professional service providers is preferred.
