• Location: Napa, CA 94558 (Napa Valley, California)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (May 18, 2026 – August 17, 2026)
• Role: Outpatient Physical Therapist / Travel PT
• Setting: Outpatient Hospital (orthopedic & neurological rehab)
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,230 – $2,390
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8-hour day shifts (9:30am–6:00pm; Fridays 8:30am–5:00pm)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Patient Load: 11–12 scheduled patients per day
• Float: Occasional float to acute inpatient side or affiliate hospitals as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active and valid California Physical Therapist license
• Minimum 1 year of recent outpatient physical therapy experience (orthopedics preferred)
• BLS certification (American Heart Association) required
• Manual therapy skills preferred; experience with advanced orthopedic and neurological interventions a plus
• Experience using Epic EMR / Epic charting system preferred
• Spanish speaking clinicians preferred but not required
• Comfort working with adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients
• Willingness to float to other units or affiliate hospitals as needed
• References: Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last three years

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with orthopedic, neurological, and geriatric conditions in an outpatient setting
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including post-op care (TKA, THA, RCR, spinal surgeries, ACL, arthroscopies) and nonoperative pain management
• Provide rehabilitation for balance and gait challenges and neurological disorders (CVA, Parkinson's disease, TBI)
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques including manual therapy, aquatic therapy, and modalities for pain management
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs, injury prevention, and self-management strategies
• Document patient progress and outcomes using Epic EMR to ensure accurate clinical records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members (physicians, OT, SLP, nursing) to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Maintain a safe, professional, and supportive environment for all patients
• Occasionally float to acute inpatient side or affiliate hospitals as needed
