Job Summary:
Radiation Therapist Level I in Northampton, Massachusetts. This position involves administering radiation therapy treatments to patients as prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist, in accordance with established Radiation Therapy practices. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The role operates within the organizations policies and procedures.

Job Details:

  • Location: Northampton, Massachusetts
  • Schedule: Days, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: An associate's degree in Radiation Therapy or Radiologic Science with a certificate in radiation therapy from an accredited Radiation Therapy Program; current registration or registry eligibility by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with the requirement to obtain registration within one year of graduation; valid Massachusetts State license; American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; two years of experience; demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Additional Information: The candidate will be responsible for performing radiation therapy treatments using equipment such as Varian Trilogy and Truebeam, Elekta Axesse, Infinity, SL-series, Sensus SRT, Philips TomoTherapy, and Philips Big Bore CT simulators. They will evaluate images to execute image-guided radiation therapy treatments, and be knowledgeable in specialized procedures and CT simulation tasks. The candidate must have three years of experience as a Radiation Therapist, be skilled in MRI, and familiar with MOSAIQ, Aria, Calypso RFID tracking, and IGRT systems.
