Assembler - Manufacturing

Knape & Vogt is looking for a motivated Assembler to join our Grand Rapids team! Key responsibilities include performing individual assembly, packaging tasks, and conducting quality control inspections, utilizing manual tools including power tools.

What Will You Be Doing:

• Perform individual assembly steps per work order requirements
• Assemble parts for final packaging
• Perform QC (quality control) inspection of products to spot obvious flaws
• Pick and/or pack individual orders and palletize freight shipments
• Maintain working knowledge of product assemblies and requirements

What Will You Bring:

• Basic reading, writing, computer and math skills
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand basic English
• Ability to efficiently work in a high fast paced environment
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. while standing for long periods of time
