Job Description
Established commercial HVAC company needs a Project Manager for commercial/industrial HVAC projects.
· Conduct site meetings with foreman; communicate goals, expectations, updates.
· Manage construction schedules; ensure the deliverables/tasks are on track; communicate any changes in schedule address with customer and sales rep.
· Communicate with clients to ensure clear understanding of service needs.
· Allocate resources (personnel, tools, equipment, etc.) for project demands.
· Identify cost-saving opportunities.
· Understand and process field work orders, RFI’s, pay applications, change orders, submittals, etc.
· Conduct regular audits of completed service work to high-quality standards.
· Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of service operations.
· Ensure timely delivery of parts and materials needed for service projects.
· Negotiate contracts and agreements with favorable terms and conditions.
· Follow-up with clients after projects to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
· Collaborate with the project coordinator in the preparation of accurate and timely service-related invoices and billing statements.
· Verify work completed against billing; resolve discrepancies.
· Ensure that operations comply with safety and industry standards.
· Enforce safety protocols to protect the well-being of service technicians and other staff.
· Identify areas for process improvement and efficiency.
· Understanding of the collective bargaining agreements for each trade.
· Continuing education through MCA / MCSA / SMACNA.
· Must have background in HVAC project management and estimating.
· LEED certification a plus.
