The Lunch Secretary, Elementary provides clerical and administrative support for the school lunch program and school office. This position maintains financial records for meal accounts, assists students and families with lunch program services, responds to inquiries, and supports daily school office operations.
Lunch Secretary, Elementary
Key Responsibilities- Answer telephone calls, screen calls, and respond to inquiries.
- Assist parents and guardians with free and reduced lunch applications, payments, and account questions.
- Collect payments for meals and snacks and maintain financial records.
- Compile data and reports related to lunch program operations.
- Greet students, parents, and visitors and direct individuals according to building security procedures.
- Maintain manual and electronic records including account balances, deposits, attendance records, and delinquent accounts.
- Participate in department meetings and required trainings.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
