Established in 1980, the Greater Lawrence Family Health Center (GLFHC) is a multi-site mission-driven non-profit organization employing over 700 staff whose primary focus is providing the highest quality patient care to residents throughout the Merrimack Valley. Nationally recognized as a leader in community medicine (family practice, pediatrics, internal medicine, and geriatrics), GLFHC has clinical sites throughout the service area and is the sponsoring organization for the Lawrence Family Medicine Residency program.

GLFHC is currently seeking a Patient Access Coordinator (PAC) to join our Operations team. This role serves as a key liaison between patients and healthcare coverage programs, supporting individuals through the health insurance enrollment process and ensuring access to care.

Key Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
• Provide enrollment assistance and follow-up for patients applying for MassHealth, Health Connector, and other coverage programs.
• Guide patients through application completion, documentation collection, and eligibility processes.
• Conduct outreach and in-reach to identify uninsured patients and connect them to available resources.
• Track applications and maintain accurate records using electronic systems and reporting tools.
• Serve as a liaison with MassHealth Enrollment Centers and assist with resolving insurance-related issues.
• Coordinate community outreach events and represent GLFHC at local initiatives.
• Support onboarding and training of new team members, including workflows and system processes.
• Assist with administrative functions including scheduling, reporting, and documentation.

Qualifications:
• 3–5 years of experience in healthcare systems, outreach, or enrollment services preferred.
• Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills required.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and electronic systems.
• Public speaking or training experience preferred.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) required.
• Ability to travel between sites and attend community events as needed.

Education:
• Associate’s Degree in Business or related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
