Job Description:
  • Client: National Home Improvement Brand

  • Duration:  3 months, potential to extend

  • Hourly Rate: up to $65/hour

  • Hours per week: 40

  • Location: In-office 4-5 days/week, Charlotte, NC

  • This will be a W2 Engagement

  • Background Check Required.

We operate in 40 states. We employ nearly 4,000 people. We’ve improved hundreds of thousands of homes. Chances are, we’re already doing work in your neighborhood, we just haven’t had the national brand to match our scale. That’s what we’re building now.

As we come to life as a national brand, the volume and importance of creative work across the business is growing fast. We’re looking for a Senior Lead Designer who can help us scale that work without sacrificing quality, and who’s excited to create the kind of assets people actually notice, engage with, and remember. This isn’t just about production. It’s about taking ideas and turning them into real, high-quality creative that shows up across every touchpoint; from performance marketing to digital experiences to internal storytelling. You’ll work closely with our Creative Director and Brand team, helping translate strategy into execution, build systems that scale, and bring consistency, speed, and craft to everything we put into the world.

If you’re someone who loves making great work, thrives in fast-moving environments, and wants to help build a brand that’s still taking shape — you’ll feel right at home here.

Key Responsibilities:

· Design high-quality creative across digital, motion, print, presentation, and emerging channels

· Translate briefs and strategic direction into thoughtful, on-brand creative that connects with real people

· Help shape how the brand shows up across marketing, sales, and internal communications

· Create performance marketing assets (paid social, display, email, landing pages)

· Create templates, systems, and repeatable formats that increase speed without sacrificing quality

· Help evolve our design systems as the brand grows

· Manage multiple projects with tight timelines and shifting priorities

· Partner with Marketing, Brand, HR, Ops, and external agencies

· Take feedback well, iterate quickly, and contribute to stronger final work

· Support a growing in-house creative team and help raise the bar for craft

Qualifications:

· 7–10+ years of professional design experience in an in-house or agency environment

· Formal training in graphic design, visual communication, or a related field (BFA or equivalent experience)

· Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)

· Strong working knowledge of Figma

· Ability to create motion graphics and edit short-form video content using After Effects and/or Premiere

· Comfortable using AI creative tools

· Experience with asset management platforms (Canto or similar)

· Familiarity with project management tools such as Asana

· A portfolio that demonstrates both strong visual craft and high-volume production work across multiple channels, including motion/video examples

· Deep understanding of layout, typography, and brand systems

· Experience creating performance marketing assets (paid social, display, email, landing pages)

· Experience developing sales and presentation materials (PowerPoint)

· Experience creating scalable templates and versioning systems

· Ability to manage multiple projects independently with minimal direction

· Strong attention to detail and file organization best practices
