Position Overview: The Senior Administrative Support Partner provides journey-level account support while further developing account management skills. In this role, 85% of the time is dedicated to account support / general administrative duties, with 15% focused on account management responsibilities. This position offers an opportunity to enhance proficiency with the company’s systems, products, and processes while taking on more complex tasks.


Key Responsibilities / Essential Functions:

Account Support:

  • Process and oversee customer orders with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Proactively track and manage open orders to ensure timely fulfillment.
  • Support the onboarding of new customers and maintain detailed account records.
  • Handle escalated customer inquiries regarding order status, pricing, inventory, and returns.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve complex customer issues.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the department.

Account Management:

  • Develop deeper relationships with assigned accounts through proactive engagement.
  • Assist in transitioning clients to online ordering platforms and optimizing their experience.
  • Analyze account trends and provide insights to improve customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in customer meetings and contribute to business review presentations.
  • Support the promotion of new products and services to assigned accounts.

Sales Support:

  • Compiles items needed for pre-order deliverables and Business Reviews to include: PowerPoint presentations, Tableau reports and data manipulation, creating / revising spreadsheets, market basket analysis and sample order requests. 
  • Onboards new accounts to include: Account set up, credit applications, setting up “identifys” and “identify 2s”,as needed, importing client lists, and custom portal builds
  • Product Support: Creates visual guides and decks – product images, pricing, descriptions, and mock-ups

Corporate / General:

  • Provide mentorship and support to junior team members.
  • Contribute to cross-functional initiatives to drive business efficiencies.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and internal product developments.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in customer service, sales support, business support, or related roles.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and order management systems.
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision.

Physical Requirements:

  • Occasional lifting of up to 10 lbs.
  • Ability to perform desk work and computer tasks for extended periods.
  • Frequent use of the telephone
