Golf Starter/Ranger - Full-time / Part-time

Job Summary:

• Opening and Closing Procedures
• Welcoming members and guests with enthusiasm
• Ensure all areas of the outside operation is clean and organized
• Provide directions or assistance to any club member or guest when needed
• Have knowledge of club events and information to communicate to members
• Monitor time and enforce pace of play policies
• Communicate all issues to Director, Golf
• Inform supervisor of safety concerns, supplies needed, and repairs needed
• Take accurate daily records
• Take pride and ownership of Cart Staging Area
• Assist in outing setup as needed
• Other duties willingly performed as assigned

Compensation

This is an hourly position with the opportunity for on-call or part time hours and a base wage of $16.00 per hour. Final compensation package offer is subject to change based on a variety of complex factors unique to each candidate including experience, education, skill set, and applicable certifications. 

Key Skills & Experience Required:

• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Able to work in a high-paced, upscale private facility and can think on their feet while providing exceptional customer service
• Recognition skills to remember member names and preferences
• Position requires significant walking, lifting, bending, and standing
• Prior experience in golf operations is required
• Advanced organizational and communication skills
