Temporary Summer School Nurse - Central Registration

Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Temporary Summer School Nurse at Central Dauphin School District. This position will work directly with our registration staff and assist families with information on immunizations. The ideal candidate will possess strong nursing skills and a commitment to student care.

Responsibilities
- Conduct health assessments and screenings for students as necessary.
- Maintain accurate and confidential student health records and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal health regulations and school policies.
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the overall health and wellness initiatives of the school district.
- Assist with the organization and management of health-related events and activities.

Requirements
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Pennsylvania.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Previous experience in a school setting or pediatric nursing is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of health regulations and best practices in school health.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification.
- Ability to handle medical emergencies with composure and professionalism.
- Availability to work during the summer as outlined by the Central Dauphin School District calendar.
