Lead Patient Accounting - Full-time

Starting Wage: $24.80-$34.11 per hour, depending on experience 

Position Summary

The Lead for Patient Accounting's primary roles include overseeing and supporting the work of the Patient Accounting Departments. Among other duties, this individual is responsible for supporting the administrative needs of the supervisor and staff, coordinating training of staff, and supporting the day-to-day operational needs and work assignments of the department. The Lead is an integral part of the overall patient experience by facilitating patient throughput, ensuring exceptional customer service, and handling conflict resolution within the assigned department. The Lead is a role model for adhering to Asante’s mission and guiding values and encourages staff to uphold these values in their daily actions.

Position Qualifications

Experience

2 years of previous experience in patient access registration or pre-service, financial counseling, business/medical office, or a related field is required

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required
• An Associate Degree in business or a healthcare-related field is preferred

Certification/Licensure

• CRCR: Certified Revenue Cycle Representative is preferred
