Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Full-Time

Location: Waterville, Maine

Shift: 5:45a - 6:15p & 5:45p - 6:15a

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and caring Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team on a full-time, part-time or PRN basis at Mount Joseph at Waterville. As a CNA with our organization, you will have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our residents while enjoying a flexible schedule and a positive work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist Elders with daily living functions such as dental care, feeding, bathing, dressing/undressing, nail care, hair care, and shaving according to expressed preference

• Assist with lifting, turning, moving, positioning, and transporting residents into and out of beds, chairs, bathtubs, wheelchairs, lifts, etc.

• Perform restorative and rehabilitative procedures as instructed

• Provide daily Range of Motion Exercises

• Answer Resident calls promptly

• Follow established safety precautions in the performance of all duties

• Report all changes in the Resident's condition to your supervisor/designee as soon as practical

• Maintain the confidentiality of all resident care information

• Ensure that all nursing care is provided in privacy

• Enter information and documentation accurately in PCC in accordance with company policy, practice and standards

• Attend and participate in scheduled training, in-service training, mandatory annual in-service training and educational classes as required/needed

Requirements:

• Minimum 0 years of experience in the healthcare field preferred

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Completion of a state-approved CNA training program

• Active CNA certification in the state of Maine

• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
