Primary Responsibilities

Support caseworkers by providing individually tailored, strength-based, and collaborative case planning services
Maintain intensive in-home contact, service provision, and therapeutic rapport with families
Develop, teach, model and evaluate effective techniques and interventions with parents/caretakers
Ensure accurate, thorough, and timely completion and filing of progress notes
Fulfill other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services related field with 2 years’ experience providing supportive services to children and their families
Current NYS Driver’s License and personal vehicle

Ability to build rapport with youth based on healthy boundaries, effective communication and mutual respect
Ability to exercise discretion and judgement in decision making
Ability to demonstrate sensitivity, compassion, patience, and active listening
Ability to effectively work with individuals from a diverse array of cultural backgrounds, beliefs, customs, and lifestyles

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree in Human Services related field with 1 years’ experience providing supportive services to children and their families
