About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Lead Preschool Teacher to join our early childhood education team. This role is responsible for leading a classroom, designing engaging learning experiences, and creating a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment for preschool-aged children.
The ideal candidate is a confident educator who is committed to early learning, positive classroom culture, and child development.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and implement age-appropriate preschool curriculum and activities.
- Create a safe, structured, and engaging classroom environment.
- Support children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
- Lead daily classroom routines including learning activities, group time, meals, and transitions.
- Observe, assess, and document student progress and developmental milestones.
- Communicate regularly with families regarding student growth and classroom updates.
- Supervise and support assistant teachers and classroom staff.
- Ensure compliance with licensing regulations, health, and safety standards.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education preferred).
- Experience working in a preschool or early childhood education setting required.
- Prior experience as a lead teacher or classroom leader preferred.
- Strong knowledge of child development and early learning practices.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with preschool curriculum planning and implementation.
- Strong classroom management and positive guidance strategies.
- Ability to build a warm, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
